Community & Economic Development Associates (CEDA) and the Lake City Port Authority are excited to announce that Lake City has been selected as one of three cities to participate in CEDA’s annual Regional Development Tour, along with Zumbrota and Goodhue. 

The day-long bus tour will take place on Wednesday, September 28 and will take 50 bus tour passengers on a guided tour of Zumbrota, Goodhue, and Lake City showcasing sites available for development, landmarks and points of interest, and staple businesses and buildings. 

CEDA’s Regional Development Tour started in 2016 as a pilot project that emphasizes and showcases the assets of rural communities in southeastern Minnesota, and has continued ever since due to its overwhelming success. Attendees will be provided relevant information about development opportunities, incentives, and interesting facts about each community. 

After the tour there will be a reception at the Covered Bridge Restaurant in Zumbrota. Registration for the tour will open toward the end of August and is FREE to attend.
