The members of the Lake City Area Chamber of Commerce are dedicated to working together, fostering a prosperous trade environment, and providing a unified voice for business in our community.

How many years has Lake City Lumber been in business?  Spence has been in the lumber business for 30 years, and we have owned Lake City Lumber for seven years.

What do you sell the most and when is your peak season?  Lumber, windows, siding and shingles are our top sellers and spring and summer are our peak seasons.

Why are you a Chamber member?   As a small town business owner, it’s important to be a part of an organization that supports its own so that we can collectively grow and sustain a strong local economy and vital community.

What’s an interesting fact about your business that most people don’t know?  We now offer outside and inside storage for boats, RVs, trailers, etc. We also sell handmade yard games such as giant Jenga!

Do you have any advice for new business owners?  Building your business around your passion, strengths and talents will give you a greater chance of success.

When you’re not working, where in Lake City do you like to spend your time? We enjoy being on our pontoon on beautiful Lake Pepin.
